Disney World Wedding Venues: A Complete Guide from a Disney Wedding Photographer
If you are planning a Disney World wedding you already know the magic is in the details. But here is something that surprises a lot of couples when they start researching venues, Walt Disney World has so many incredible wedding locations that the hardest part is not finding a beautiful space. It is choosing just one.
We are Josh and Taylor, a husband and wife photography and videography team who specialize in Disney weddings, and we have had the privilege of photographing celebrations at Walt Disney World venues that most people only dream about. One of the things we love most about Disney World wedding venues is that they are genuinely stunning on their own. You do not need to bring in a team of decorators to make these spaces feel magical, the magic is already built in. Any additional decor just takes something extraordinary and makes it even more so.
Here is our complete guide to every Disney World wedding venue, organized by area, with our personal photographer's perspective!
The Most Iconic Disney World Wedding Venue: Disney's Wedding Pavilion
If there is one venue that defines the Disney World wedding experience it is Disney's Wedding Pavilion at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. This breathtaking Victorian chapel sits on its own private island surrounded by a serene lagoon, accessible by footbridge, with a direct view of Cinderella Castle framed perfectly through the chapel windows.
We have photographed weddings here and every single time it stops us. The chapel does not need anything added to it. The architecture, the light, the castle view — it is already perfect. It is consistently one of the most sought after wedding venues at Walt Disney World and after photographing here we completely understand why.

Some of Our Favorite Disney World Wedding Venues as a Photographer
With so many stunning options it is hard to choose favorites but a few venues hold a special place for us as photographers.
Disney's Wedding Pavilion is in a category entirely its own. The chapel, the island setting, the Cinderella Castle view, we have never photographed there without feeling the full weight of how special the space is.
The EPCOT World Showcase venues, particularly Italy Isola and the fireworks dessert parties, consistently produce some of the most visually stunning images we create at any Disney wedding. The architectural detail and the atmosphere of those spaces do the heavy lifting and our job is simply to make sure every moment is captured.
The Marina Patio and Terrace at the Grand Floridian is another one we love returning to. The combination of the resort, the water, and that castle view in the background is genuinely magical every single time.
What all of our favorite Disney World wedding venues have in common is that they are beautiful on their own. The magic is already there. Any decor a couple adds just enhances something that is already extraordinary, and that is what makes planning a Disney World wedding so exciting.
