As Pennsylvania wedding photographers and videographers, we have captured celebrations across the state, but Taylor and Chad’s Cork Factory Hotel Lancaster PA wedding was an unforgettable winter day filled with warmth, intention, and timeless detail. From the natural window light in the bridal suites to the candlelit ceremony and sparkler exit, every part of their December wedding felt both intimate and elevated.

Getting Ready at Cork Factory Hotel

One of the reasons we love photographing a wedding at Cork Factory Hotel is the natural light. The bridal and groom suites both feature beautiful window light, which creates soft, flattering portraits without harsh shadows.

Taylor’s details were thoughtfully curated for her flat lay photographs. Her invitation suite, shoes, rings, jewelry, perfume, and carefully chosen accessories were styled in a way that felt refined and cohesive. Chad’s details were equally intentional, including his watch, cologne, and custom cuff links. These elements helped tell the full story of their day from the very beginning.

Having both sides get ready at the venue also allows the day to flow seamlessly. Everything remains relaxed, organized, and beautifully lit.

A Winter First Touch with Private Vows

Although it was December and the temperatures were low, Taylor and Chad knew they wanted outdoor portraits. Before the ceremony, they shared a private first touch instead of a traditional first look. Standing back to back, they exchanged personal vows without seeing one another.

It was emotional and meaningful while still preserving the moment Taylor walked down the aisle later in the day.

Following their private vows, we moved into individual portraits, select family photos, and separate bridal party portraits. Completing these ahead of the ceremony allowed them to enjoy more of cocktail hour later and kept the timeline smooth.

An Intimate Indoor Ceremony

The ceremony space inside Cork Factory Hotel is known for its exposed brick walls and warm atmosphere. For their winter wedding, candlelight lined the aisle, creating a cozy and romantic setting that contrasted beautifully with the cold December air outside.

They exchanged traditional vows surrounded by family and friends. As they recessed down the aisle, they shared a joyful dip kiss that perfectly reflected their personalities and excitement.

After the ceremony, we completed remaining family portraits inside before heading outdoors for full bridal party portraits and additional couple portraits. Even in the winter chill, Taylor and Chad embraced the moment, resulting in timeless images with beautiful seasonal character.

Cocktail Hour and Reception Reveal

One feature we truly appreciate about a Cork Factory Hotel Lancaster PA wedding is how cocktail hour is held separately from the reception space. This gives us the opportunity to photograph the reception untouched, capturing every detail exactly as it was designed.

It also allows the couple to experience a private room reveal before guests enter. Taylor and Chad were able to step into the space together, take it all in, and enjoy a quiet moment before the celebration began.

A Celebration to Remember

Their reception took place in the same brick space as the ceremony, transformed for the evening celebration. They shared their first dance surrounded by loved ones, followed by heartfelt speeches from the maid of honor and best man.

After cutting their cake, the dance floor opened and remained full throughout the evening. The energy was joyful and genuine, exactly what you hope for at a winter wedding celebration.

To close the night, Taylor and Chad shared a private last dance while their guests lined up outside. The evening ended with a sparkling send-off as they exited through a tunnel of sparklers, the perfect finish to their Lancaster PA wedding day.
